Thanks for volunteering! We realize how much time you put into juggling your coaching duties with your work, family and other commitments. We have created this page in the hopes that it will make your coaching job a little easier. Below are links to web pages and documents that are chock full of great coaching information and resources. If you are new to coaching soccer, we offer extensive coach training. As a matter of fact, we require all of our coaches, new and returning, to attend at least one coach training every season. We strive to provide top quality training that is interesting and valuable to our coaches. Over the past several years, training sessions have been conducted by our in-house Advanced Coaching staff, University of Oregon Soccer coaches, Oregon Youth Soccer Association coaches, U. K. International Soccer coaches and AYSO National coaches. Our training is not "one size fits all". We offer training sessions that are age appropriate for the division that you are coaching. As a result of our training program, all LYSA coaches receive National Certification.

LYSA Coach Manuals

Below are links to the LYSA Coach Manuals. They are the official Coach Manuals designed for coaches who have attended the age-appropriate coach certification course. That said, even if you have not attended the age-appropriate coach certification course, you are welcome and encouraged to download and read the Coach Manual for the age-division that you are coaching.  You will need to request a password to open these PDF files after downloading.  Please email Joel to request a password at coach@laneyouthsoccer.org
