LYSA offers financial assistance to as many player families as possible each season. Any family that provides documentation of participating in the free and reduced meal program or any other form of public assistance will receive a fee reduction when requested.

In order to be fair to all families, LYSA requires proof of financial need in order to give a scholarship.  Participation in any income-based State or Federal assistance program automatically qualifies your player. Programs include: Oregon Trail, Oregon Health Plan, Free lunch programs and WIC.  

To register on-line, you must first mail/email a copy of your qualifying document / acceptance letter to LYSA at:

You will then be notified acknowledging receipt of document and allowed to register at the scholarship rate.

The scholarship rate is $30 off the regular registration rate. Limited assistance with uniforms and other gear is also available, but needs to be specifically requested by parents.  Other discounts may be given in addition to the scholarship discount if families are eligible and make the requests.  To ensure you receive the all scholarship discounts that you are eligible for, please register as early as possible.
